Healthy Boundaries are Essential for the Maintenance of Respectful Relationships.

Sometimes it’s challenging to say No—Perhaps it’s caused by the fear of disappointing or displeasing those we love and care about.

However, saying Yes when we ought to say No for the sake of our own well-being compromises the authenticity of our intentions, morals, values, and principles.

We cannot help others if we fail to help ourselves, we are never obliged to compromise our authenticity or well-being for the sake of someone else.

On the other hand—Sometimes we fear saying Yes! We fear accepting the people, opportunities, and rewarding experiences presented to us due to underlying insecurities.

Feelings of unworthiness, inadequacy, guilt, or shame take us hostage and prevent us from thriving in the ways we deserve.

Self-reflecting and focusing on our values, strengths, and potential is an empowering way to face these fears and insecurities.
